# A little help with my pack

Creating a proton wand. Hey guys, I’m building a [proton pack](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack) for Halloween since it’s my birthday and I’ve been TRYING to do it for YEARS. I havent started, but i figure if I have all the BASE material and order the special stuff this week, I should be set. My problem is, the neutron wand/proton gun/whatever you want to call it. The base of it, people say it should be hollow, but I don’t have anything to cast it from, I was going to carve and cut down a base of wood, but…what should i do? Bear in mind, it’s october 2nd. Thanks.

My advice would be use the Hprops Gunbox template and scratchbuild from 1/8" MDF

Should get the basic box done in less than a day and then you need to add the handles and details…

Where can I find that? And um…MDF is…? Wow…I always wait till the last minute…

normally If I don’t know what somthing is I type it in goggle. :walterpeck:
