Hello Ladies and Gents of the GB forum! Just wanted to see if any of you know the answer to this question regarding the [Kenner](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/real-ghostbusters/kenner-10410) [Gooper Ghost](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/toys/kenner/gooper-ghosts) figures. I currently have all four of these (Green Ghost, [Banshee](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/characters/banshee) Bomber, Squisher and Sludge Bucket) with the accompanying cans of sealed ecto-plazm in their original boxes. The package art on the ecto-plazm cans is a bit different than the cans that were sold separately in stores. These Gooper Ghost cans do not display any of the drawings of the pack-in mini ghosts except the blue one right below the logo. Is it safe to assume then, that these cans do not contain a mini-ghost within the play gel? I am itching to open one and find a little mystery figure suspended in the best toy slime ever produced…somehow, I feel it might (only temporarily) ease the loss that we all experienced yesterday with Ramis’s passing. Still can’t believe he is gone. :sigh: Anyway, just wondering if anyone knows about these particular pack-in ecto-plazms. The answer to your question is its a mixed bag. While the Ecto-plazm packaging art changed several times (which sometimes featured the pack-in pictures, pink starburst or even without any mention), there was always supposed to be a ghost packed inside. That was the main selling point to the slime and advertised on the retail box. However, I can remember a few times as a kid getting a can and it not have a ghost. Even with the packaging saying it came with one. I can only guess that it was due to error. The cans w/ the [gooper ghosts](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/toys/kenner/gooper-ghosts) should have them regardless of the packaging unless its due to error. The only cans that I know for certain which did not contain an additional ghost was the half can that came with the Mini Goopers. The only way to know for sure is to open the can yourself. ---

Well…finally I cracked open the original [Gooper Ghost](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/toys/kenner/gooper-ghosts) Ecto-Plazm cans and none of the four included pack-in ecto ghosts. :sigh: So bummed but at least we know. :whatever: ---

Wish I would have seen this sooner, would have saved you the headache. Picked up sludge Bucket a few years back for $11 on ebay. I immediatly opened the slime and was dissapointed as well. Still smells the same from what I remember when I was 5 too! 😃 ---
