Wife and I had a great time at the Key City Steam punk Con yesterday.
We met some great people including some new friends from another ghostbusing franchise.
Hopefully there will be more pics of the convention online after people wake up and get home; My Wife and I aren’t very big shutter bugs…
The pack and trap turned out amazingly well! Hopefully, there will be more pics from your next event.
One important thing I want to note, I’m really happy with how the ergonomics on this thing worked out.
I spend a lot of time walking around the house testing the rigging and making adjustments.
And the result was that the costume was easy to live in.
The hanger for the wand worked well when I needed a hand; I could get the trap on and off the belt when I needed it; My back and shoulders don’t feel any more ruined than they usually are at the end of a weekend.
… My wife also helped. My wife helped a LOT. Having a “here hold this person” makes such a difference. Such a big big BIG difference.
Hopefully some more photos of the both of us will surface on social media, Most of the ones I have right now were taken by her.
I will make one small change to the shoulder straps. Right now the bolts holding them are straight though.
The straps will sit better if I remake that part and angle them
