I heard that if people had problems with missing parts that posting on their facebook page got a quicker response then emails.
I’ve been considering getting this pack as a starter, as I don’t have my own yet. The one I’d like to build is going to cost me well over $4,000. Then again, I’m a stickler for accuracy and extra mods. I’d like to have a pack to start with without spending an insane amount of money, so hopefully if I invest in this one, it will be worth it until I can get to work on the other one.
I’d like to see one fully built first before I decide to buy though, so I’ll be checking back regularly for updates. If any of you guys buy and build one, please post pics and details.
Personally, I think it looks great for a starter. The specs seem highly detailed, at least to the naked eye. Hopefully ANOVOS can deliver.

So I’ve been meaning to do a pack literally FOREVER - and this seems straightforward, but I have so many questions - how much will be completed? What tools might I need? What modifications can I make?
The idea seems cool, but I need to know if I’ll have the tools and knowledge necessary to throw this sucker together.
Have they released anything to that effect?
I’m looking forward to seeing the finished ANOVOS pack and wand kit and what quality it offers at the price point of $600 it is advertised for. I know some people that are involved in its design and I’m very hopeful it will be an excellent starter kit and I know that my father and I are on tap to assemble/modify several of them when they start shipping.
With that said, I do want to touch on a few things for members that are new to exciting world of Ghostbusters prop building. If you think you will have a full-up proton pack you can wear right out of the box for only $600.00 or maybe just a little more, then you are kidding yourself. The estimated shipping charge for UPS Ground for the kit is apprx $87.00 ($108.00 if adding in the ALICE Frame) at least from CA to GA. You will need to purchase an ALICE frame and straps, which they will also offer for $40.00, but I would go with purchasing an authentic LC-2 set as they are still readily available and more likely cheaper. Assembly is required; tools will need to be purchased if you don’t have them already or access to a friend’s tools, cost can vary depending on what you will needed. Paint supplies wil also be needed and will add to the overall cost…you don’t want to skimp with cheap paint. The pack kit does not include electronics; cost for that upgrade is pending, but expect to pay over $100 and probably closer to $250 if needing to add a speakers, amp and a dedicated 12v battery. At a minimum, be prepared to pay over $1000.00 and probably closer to $1200 for a completed pack and that’s if you do all the work yourself and don’t upgrade any of the parts that come with the kit. Still not a bad deal at all, but I’d like for new members to have a more realistic expectation of what they are investing in.
A lot of people I know are sceptical of Anovos, as they were really poor on delivery and customer service regarding their Star Wars stuff, and weren’t all that impressed with the quality. With HAT being said, if they have learned from that experience, and Ghostbusters not being quite at the same level of costuming as Star Wars, maybe they’ll be able to pull it off? It’s certainly worth keeping an eye on..
I dont expect ellite quality for $600. Fair pack for fair price… What i am skeptical about is there electronic kit. How good will it be? Will it be overpriced? Probably going yo use gbfan elec kits
I’m definitely looking forward to building this pack. I don’t think I could live with myself if it came out of the box ready to wear. I’m already eyeing other electronic kits to add when this is built.
