# Anyone know the name of this prop/where to find?

Im looking for this tape measure that Winston uses in the subway scene but can’t seem to find a name for it or where to find it or something close to it..anyone have any ideas/answers? Thanks

NOTE- its not the image on the left that is circled that was already in the picture. Im referring to winston in the middle that film canister looking thing

It’s essentially a water level sounder; I don’t believe its make and model have ever been identified.

I’ve poked around for it in the past, closest I’ve come is either a diver’s belt spool:

I think you’re pretty much on with the surveyor’s reel.

Some patents I dug up:
