as everybody knows … eric stolz was first casted for the role of marty mcfly and they also shot some scenes with him … are those scenes availabe somewhere as download or stream … or do only pictures exists ? I hope his hair is like that for a reason, would have been odd to see it like that for the whole movie. I also wish these would be available supplements on the DVD’s. ---

I saw them at a screening of Back to the Future. Bob Gale (Producer of the film) when asked if they would ever be added to a DVD explained at the screening that while they were willing to show them at the screening they did not want to release them. The reason he said was that they felt that that part was a bad choice for that actor and that showing the scenes might do potential damage to the actors career. He said that it was a mistake on their part in casting him and it wouldn’t be fair to the actor. He usually shows them at screenings, there is one coming up soon in Alabama. Also I think people have videotaped them at some of the screenings and they might be on YouTube or some other source. ---

He did say that they would possibly release them in the future when Eric Stolz is no longer a “working” actor.
