Hey Gb fans out there i just finished putting my [proton pack](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack) together and having problem on how many batterys to use. I have the GBfans Sound, light and wand board all hooked up. Im thinking of getting the rechargble battery. any help is welcome thanks D.man ---

If you are using the trio of gbfans kits you can power it all with 1 battery. I prefer a 12v rechargeable but to each his own. ---

yes i have all three GBfan kits. I was thinking of getting the rechargeable 12v, but for now how many batterys do i need and how hard is it to hook up the 12v battery. ---

I may be wrong but I believe it is 8 AA batteries to make 12V ---

It is as hard as you want it to be. The GB Fans board can run all of the power to other kits. I have a 12v rechargeable that I run to the power terminals on the sound board. You’ll want to get a rechargeable battery with a larger mAh rating so you can run lights and sounds for a longer period of time. ---

yeah im not looking for hard i want easy and simple, so what type of rechargeable 12v should i be looking for on mAh ---

Most of us use 12v 9800mah lipo “blue brick” CCTV batteries found on ebay for around $30 w/ charger included. You’ll have to either buy sockets for it or else cut off the plug to connect it to your kits, neither of which is rocket science. ---
