I was inspired to do a slime collection after seeing a couple of great ones. I wanted to have them in beakers instead of some of the other containers I’ve seen like in the courtroom scene of GB2. I settled on [Ectoplasmic Residue](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/games/ghostbusters-the-video-game/ghosts/ectoplasmic-residue), Mood Slime, and [Black Slime](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/games/ghostbusters-the-video-game/ghosts/black-slime) and got my ingredients together.

Here’s how it has come together initially:

I mixed the soap, glitter, and highlighters together but the glitter all sank to the bottom. Mixing the green highlighter with green soap made it a lot darker than I wanted it. However the Ectoplasmic Residue and Mood Slime worked well under the black light:

The labels were heavily inspired from: [http://www.gbfans.com/fans/props/other/3963/5/](http://www.gbfans.com/fans/props/other/3963/5/)

As I mentioned, I wasn’t happy with how dark the Ectoplasmic Residue became, so I mixed a yellow highlighter with the remaining green soap and was happy with the result

It also worked out better under the black light:

I still have some alterations I want to make but wanted to post my progress.

Nice! I always love the highlighter-in-water trick.

The problem with letting someone else’s labels ‘inspire’ you is that when they have a typo, you get a typo!

It should be spelled PSYCHO-

Not PYSCHO-.

Aside from that old peeve of mine, I’m tempted to try this highlighter trick now.

And I was thinking earlier that someone needs to make the little scoop that Egon used to pour slime into the toaster.

Good catch Alex. I was so focused on the “Magnatheric” part, I didn’t even pay attention to be beginning. Spelling was never my strong suit. For a while on the [Black Slime](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/games/ghostbusters-the-video-game/ghosts/black-slime) label I had “Shador’s Island” instead of “Shandor”. Luckily I plan on printing the labels on adhesive paper and I can correct in other mistakes.

nope its a spoon, watch as he’s dipping it out and holding it flat at :06

in your screenshot he’s holding it sideways with the round part toward the camera to pour it out.

Anybody know what the top to the beaker of mood slime in the courtroom scene is? I’m looking for a way to cover my beakers and the best I can find are watch glasses.

To me it always looked like a wide petri dish base.
