I was doing some searches here and on google today looking for the length the booster tube protrudes above the body of the pack…Stefans plans states 1/8" but looking at the screen grabs and Vincenzos sony lobby pack photos It looks closer to 1/4" to 3/8" it doent seem like a large detail obviously but I am meticulous… I have my aluminum tube cut at the proper angle for my ZRV3 shell but dont want to cut it off lengthwise until I can be sure.
It depends on what pack you’re trying to replicate.
Im building a GB1 pack but no specific one… your response tells me it varied depending on whos pack though and isnt a detail that matters to anyone unless im replicating a specific pack…
For the most part about 1/4" is good, it’s more the height and depth of the booster plug that matters. Stunts were shallow, GB1 super-hero had a flush plug while the “heros” were more or less 1/4" above the top of the tube.
cool that works… sorry if it sounded like a dumb ass question… I assumed as much when I couldnt find the answer while searching the site but had to ask anyway or it would have bothered the hell out of me. Thanks for addressing it regardless though.
