Now if they decided to make the movie, in CGI animation i hope they Film it in motion capture. If they wont do live action its almost like it, if you remember the Movie “Final Fantasy spirits within”, it was computer animated but it looked realalistic. Lets all hope to god its not Shrek cgi… :? ---

I could see them going either way… kind of a dark, gritty, realistic sort of feel to the whole thing or going the Shrek or TMNT route and it looking very stylized. Sadly, I’d probably say they’re going to do be going the 2nd, more childish route. So, there probably won’t be much mo-cap since most of those characters seem to be gumby-humans anyway. Either way, we get a new Ghostbusters movie- YAY! -Tyler ---

Didn’t they make the movie 300 with some kind of animation? 3D animation and computer graphics .. I heard everything in that movie was all computer generated, even the guys bodies. I still think the boys can pull off another GB movie, who cares about their ages with a the shit they can do with movies these days I’m sure hollywood could make it happen. I hated the way TMNT came out, I like the live action movie better. ---

Motion capture would be cool as long as they could make the chacters a bit more skinny then they are now! I like the idea of the game/movie taking place closer to the time of GB2. ---

Yeah, they could definitely go either way with it. I didn’t see Beowulf, but I did see the trailers for it, and from what I could tell, that was all animation. However, you could barely tell. It looked very realistic. In the trailers, I saw Angelina Jolie in one of the roles, and it looked EXACTLY like Angelina Jolie… you know… except for the fact that she didn’t have a human body. LOL! That is how I’d want them to do it if they went with a new CGI movie. If they have to go the animation route, I’d want it to look as real as possible. It could actually be a good move if they make it look that realistic, because hopefully it could still allow them the flexibility to make the boys in gray look like the did in the other movies, instead of looking much older, out of shape, and REALLY being the boys in gray. LOL! Honestly, I find it highly doubtful that we are even going to get that anyway, so I’m just happy we are getting [the video game](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/games/ghostbusters-the-video-game). ---

On the subject of motion capture, I’ve never seen it done well (with the exception of Gollum in TLOTR), and think it’s greatly over rated. (I think the actors ham it up to make sure the motion is captured, which makes the final product look fake. Take a look at the dancing conductors scene in Polar Express and tell me it looks like real dancing.) I’d rather see Pixar do Ghostbusters the same way that they did The Incredibles. Now that was an exciting high quality joy-ride that another Ghostbusters should be. ---

if they do make a CGI movie, I hope they do it like Beowulf. If I see another CGI movie rip off the art style from the Incredibles, I will scream! And if ghostbusters ever did that, I would cry and walk out of the cinema. well i think live action would be totally way awsome! the more realistic it is the better for the movie! a lot of detailings specially for screen grabs! nice close ups for us the the fans to enjoy it all for t5he GB propsters and GB Artists! like me lol! realistic would totally rock out loud! and bust out every other movies to #1 in the box office at least for a month long lol!🆒 ! ---
