I was just watching the blu-ray, and noticed that in the last shot of the movie, right before [Slimer](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/characters/slimer) flies at the screen, the lightbars on Ecto have clear lenses with blue rotators. Any ideas why they changed lenses for a single shot? I couldnt find that combonation anywhere else in the film ---

The pics below are from the scene he’s talking about. I’ve noticed it before too(aong with the microphone cord that gets stretched over the hood of the Ecto 1 as it pulls away, only to snap back at the last minute). The covers weren’t clear, they were still blue. I’m sure it has to do with the camera, film, lighting etc. _(right-click and “view image” for full-size)_ ---

Also notice how washed out the blue spotlights are as well, something messed up with the colour rather than them being clear. ---

Thanks for the help, Kind2311 and Kingpin. Didn’t notice the spotlights were washed out either. My best guess now is that the color has something to do with setting up the [Slimer](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/characters/slimer) shot immediately afterward.
