I just had the opportunity to hold in my hands 3 distinct sets of Clippard hex fittings, each with their own unique bevel. I used this opportunity to take a few reference pictures for you guys. Enjoy! ![]()

Well, here they are. Modern on top (almost no bevel) vintage with medium bevel in the middle, vintage with large bevel on the bottom.

Here’s a better pic that really shows the difference in bevel size. Notice that the bevel is present both on top and on the bottom of the fittings (near the threads)

Here’s one of each, modern, medium, large. It’s really a subtle detail, but one that’s only present on vintage hex fittings.

If I’m not mistaken, the medium bevel fittings were present on the Sony lobby hero pack, and the larger bevel were on the Minnesota. So both are accurate! ![]()

With the hole on top, just for the heck of it.

Same thing.

From the top, it’s reeeally hard to notice. Strangely, the machined “circle” is exactly the same diameter on all three variants (exactly one centimeter)
Well, that’s that. Really can’t get any more obscure than that.
