Hey all. All new UK fan right here! Well been a fan all my life but was browsing around for [Proton Pack](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack) assistance and ended up here. So yep I am from Leeds in West Yorkshire, went to see the movie in the cinema aged about 8-ish. Got into trouble at school for drawing the RGB Venkman on everything and attempting to draw the perfect no-ghost logo on the sides of my homework. I am in the middle of building my own Proton Pack. I have the basic pack built but am starting again. However, I am trying to cut all the parts out with a Dremel and the shakes from too many cheap energy drinks (plus no skills with tools)… I am stuck on the gun. Every part is fiddly and a nightmare. It’s almost Halloween!! Been thinking about getting a resin gun block but lack of money is a bitch. I had given up until I saw Kingpin’s pack being constructed and I got the urge again. So hey any advice or assistance would be great from some pro’s other than that all I can say is “Hello!” ---

You poor man, i work in Middleton but live in Halton I’m not so bad with getting materials, My dad’s a Joiner so he can get me any wood i need from off cuts at his work He even took stefan’s plans to work with him and said he’d cut me some wood to size, i do wonder what he actually does if he finds time to do this ---

Lucky guy! The materials are the hardest thing to get and use. Then it’s best to just buy the rest of the bits and bobs from the guys on here. Sadly looks like I’ll be Ash from the Evil Dead for Halloween this year unless some kinda miracle occurs. ---

I’m dreading the importing of stuff, dam post office and handling fees, they don’t even post the items you buy internationally, just drop a card off with your post saying come pay this tiny amount of import tax, and £8 handling fee for us to not deliver it just leave it in the depot. Can’t understand it, your postage pays for it to your home but it never comes, then they pay the import tax which is often a few £ but a lot less than the handling fee, then you pay them £8 pound to what? pay the tax man and then get the money off you? its like a fine for making them do some actual work ---
