I’m trying to figure out the best way to connect my [proton pack](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack) to my alice frame. Im making it out of plywood.

i just used two bolts thru the slots already in the bottom brace of the alice frame. these went into the generator, so you dont see them at all and it gives some wiggle room since you’re mounted in slots. then i drilled a hole just above the “t” in the middle brace. that one came out right beside the very top of the generator, and i used the end of the [ribbon cable](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/ribbon-cable) to obscure it from view. turned out to be a really sturdy mount, and i used 1/4" mdf for the whole pack. i think i used 1/4" bolts.

I drilled a hole in the middle of the alice frame myself and then used zip ties (just above and below where I drilled) for added support.
