I know ebay auctions arn’t to be posted, but this auction is now over and I did win it, so that should be ok right? The guy claims that it’s molded directly from a PH shell…That wasn’t what made me buy it though, the price for all the stuff included incl a fiberglass shell is what swayed me. My question is, does anybody think this could be a genuine PH mold? I don’t recall anybody ever saying that those shells were cast and molded, and I’m sure if they were and were sold to people then this board would have known about it! The guy said he paid just under a grand for it all a few months ago but has been forced to sell it due to financial problems arising. i]EDIT ~ forgot the link[/i] ---

Cant seem to find a link… But i think i know what your talking about, bit of a discussion went on about whether it could be moulded and recast as it claims to be an original prop… I’d say It definitely started somewhere from an original mould… But has been modified and recast etc… How much did you pay for it? I got it for £310 includinging P+P which isn’t bad for a fiberglass shell and all the other stuff…If I bought a fiberglass shell from an US seller plus the postage and having to buy a [bumper](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/bumper) seperatly it would have wound up cosing me that much plus more. Goosebot, I’m worried by reading this. It would appear they are the same seller! I havn’t paid for it yet but now am worried about paying for it ---

shodanmark bought a shell from him and it turned up. Might just be the goggles he’s bad with. ---

You should be ok… He seems to be pretty good with the ebay stuff. If you buy something off of ebay its a bigger risk. Also, eBay is always on the buyers side. So you’ll be fine mate. Lawrence ---

I looked at his feedback, lately he has been selling alot of stuff that has been genuine, pack shells, namebrand [trigger tips](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/trigger-tip), [pke meters](https://www.gbfans.com/shop/mattel-pke-meter) and also a gunbody. The only saving grace is that it’s a courier delivery which will cut down in wait time and there’ll be a tracking number so if it no shows or no tracking update then I’ll have to open up a dispute ---

There’s also some discussion about him recasting Venkman71’s shells again…which is what that shell would be.
