Ok as some of you know I bought this pack and when it showed up it was just a box of parts… the trip threw the mail beat it to peaces… So i have done a full rebuild on the pack… I have NOT touched the thrower …
When i got the pack it was built as a GB-2 and now i have rebuilt it as a GB-1 ..
I wanted you all to look at it ( the pack only ) and let me know if i have missed any thing ,
I KNOW IM MISSING THE TWO CORRECT STRAIGHT’S …AND DECALS …
if you’re doing a gb1 pack, the ion arm cap isnt painted black. it’s the metal it was made from unpainted. also there isnt any split tubing on the hose on the clippard fitting on the top of the cap either. the cap is painted black on the gb2 pack though. yet, there is not any split tubing on the fitting. also, those screws in the ion cap dont appear to be the correct socket screws.
why did you re-drill holes to rivet your alice frame? the holes didnt appear to be broken there, all that looked like needed to be done was just another rivet put there. this could affect your alice frame(no doubt) and could possibly cause some stress where you mount it to your mobo and possibly breaking in the future.
other than those two things; everything else looks like it’s supposed to be.
I will correct the paint on the ion cap and the split tube … socket screws ? do you mean like the alens on the rest of the pack ? or something different…
as to the pack … i missed drilled the hole on one of the rivets… and that frame is a converted LC-2 frame i did a messy job on …but if it kinda fooled ( expect for that rivet ) i guess im doing a good job on that …
