I just happened to notice when looking on the D\*C website that if 10 or more memberships are purchased together in bulk they knock $5 off of the price. SO that would make the advance purchase memberships for the weekend $65 instead of $70. If people are interested we could try to organize a group purcahse to get this discount. Kinda sad they aren’t offering it for $60 (non-group discount) until November like they did last year. And this is still a major FAIL: > [@](#): > > Badges are not mailed. You could buy will call badges for $120 each right before the con, or prebuy them for $60 for all four days… or for $55 if we can get a group discount. So one person then saves $65, or more then 50% off. If you are buying for a couple, that means a savings of almost $130 between both people. which means you can afford to upgrade your hotel with the extra bucks, or drink more when you are there! 😉 ---

It’s worth it to me to pay the extra $60 and not run the risk of wasting 4 hours of my life standing in line. ---

I’ve read a few rumors that they will be going to a barcode system next year instead of the alphabet lines. I think that would work a lot better. The alphabet lines have never made sense to me. Why not just have the next person in line go to the next available booth like at any other event? ---

Because that just makes far too much sense! LOL! I talked to my dragoncon contact down there, and she hasn’t heard anything about ticket presells yet at all. If I hear anything, I’ll of course pass it on.
