I want to redo my [PKE meter](https://www.gbfans.com/shop/mattel-pke-meter). Its crappily made and can’t past muster. I looked in the Equipment tab here and found only 2 plans for a PKE meter. Are there any more plans besides that? I’d like to make a meter that has the working wings/lights and the display screen, but I don’t know enough on how to do it. I hoped there would be a set of plans like Norm’s for the [proton pack](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack) for building a meter but I don’t see any. I was torn between making one after the movie style or cartoon but since wood is my source material, I don’t think I can make a movie version. Is there something else similar to a [Iona shoe polisher](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/pke-meter/iona-shoe-polisher) body that I can use if I wanted to make a movie version meter? I love to jury rig stuff but I don’t have any ideas on what to use. (this post was so much better before I accidently deleted it before I posted it) ---

I’ve seen peaple useing lint brushes from the dollor store I hope this helps. ---

That’s where I’m hung up, I cant figure out the wings, knobs, or faceplate ---

Yeah, you’re not going to find the whole shebang for $20… and I honestly don’t have any plans of offering conversion kits. I may look into, but only if I can do it right.
