Planning is underway for DC '13 and its an exciting time! The regular stuff will return, fan table, dinner, awards, etc. but this year we’re working on several new things including panels and other nightly events. We also have a special surprise planned for the parade! Now, I apologize for not being able to let a lot of info out right now, but there is one thing that I can officially announce… FINALLY, [ERNIE HUDSON](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/people/ernie-hudson) WILL BE A GUEST AT DRAGONCON!!! The news is so new it’s not yet on the full DragonCon page [http://www.dragoncon.org](http://www.dragoncon.org) but you CAN find the announcement on DC’s official Facebook page! > **[Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/pages/DragonCon/58381388805?fref=ts)** ---

Another small update. I put in the app for the fan table today and SPECIFICALLY requested we not be right next to the music this year. (You cant tell it here, but we’re all about to bleed from our ear-holes) They don’t start taking parade apps till Friday but I’ll do that too. I REALLY wish I could let the cat out of the bag on the parade surprise but I’ve been sworn to secrecy. ---

Have they given any indication where they are putting the fan tables this year? Im sure anywhere is better then right next to the drum circle. I walked by the GB table like 50 times over the course of last DC and cringed for you boys every single time…but with the dealers and exhibitions moving to the Amerimart building..I am kinda worried the fan tables might be moving that direction too. ---

I think the bands and stuff that have tables in the Marriott are supposed to move, but I don’t know if they are moving everything else, too. ---

Looks like its still a possibility, (see Hyatt Councourse and Concourse Performance Area) but in the app there’s a special requests part and I asked there that we be away from the music. > **[Fan Tables - Dragon Con](https://www.dragoncon.org/participate/fan-tables/)** > > \[vc\_row css\_animation=”” row\_type=”row” use\_row\_as\_full\_screen\_section=”no” type=”grid” angled\_section=”no” text\_align=”left” background\_image\_as\_pattern=”without\_pattern” css=”.vc\_custom\_1560538174774{background: #000000... ---

That is exciting news. I haven’t had the opportunity to meet any of the cast members. How awesome would it be to get Ernie to participate in the parade with us. Ride in one of the cars, or walk with the rest of us. Hell, I would gladly (as I’m sure everyone else would) let him wear my pack if he wanted. ---
