I wanted to drop a few updates for you guys!!!
As you know Ernie Hudson will be at DragonCon, he will also be invited to our dinner, and MAY join us in the parade as well! (not confirmed yet, but its looking good)
Speaking of dinner…everything is subject to change this far out of course…but it looks like the Mellow Mushroom will again be hosting our dinner
I can’t dance, I can’t sing We will also be hitting up the Metro diner for GB Karaoke!!!
**Imma ■■■■■■■■ you! ** We plan to have a couple of ■■■■■■■■ goals (its a beanbag toss you guys http://www.■■■■■■■■.com/ ) near the fan table as a running competition during the weekend. If there is enough interest we may do a tournament.
Speaking of tournaments…BEER PONG we’ll need someone to volunteer some space in their room for this one, but if possible we’re wanting to do a beer pong tourny as well!
We are still working on a paypal-type account to accept donations for anti-child abuse charities in light of the unfortunate situation with one of DC’s former founders, but we hope to launch that a month or so out from the con.
I will be hitting Atlanta in late May for a planning meeting with the DC organizers, that’s where we’ll (hopefully) get the panels ok’d. We’re looking for a Q+A with Ernie, pack building (both at budget and accurate) and Ectofication panels…
oh…and I almost forgot to mention…we will have ANOTHER big surprise for parade day!

Last year was my first Dcon (Heck it was my first convention!!!) So I was taking everything in and only got to stop by the table for a quick minute and missed the parade because I was “Stuck in traffic”… ok I was too hungover to get up on time…but this year I REALLY want to talk to other GBs and swap horror stories… ESPECIALLY Ecto builders… I just started getting work done on mine…with EXTREME luck she will be ready for DCon…but Im not holding my breath…but yeah I REALLY cant wait to meet all of you and meet Mr. Ernie Hudson AND Mr. Maurice LaMarche (Voice of Egon on Real and Extreme Ghostbusters for anyone who doesnt know) Im just so Excited to go back and be around such great people (The ones I had a pleasure to say hey to last year) and an awesome event/atmosphere…
This is ALL awesome news Chase! Thanks for all your work in getting this going. As always if there is anything myself or the Western KY GBs can do to help, don’t hesitate to ask! Seriously can’t wait!

Not much new to report but I was ordered to post another teaser pic of our special surprise for the parade (which if you haven’t guessed by now…C’MON!!)
It’s an Ecto-1 that is the correct base car, but is missing a few parts and/or has them mislocated slightly? 
The car is not the surprise. It’s actually the antenna. Chace is carrying one to flog us all while we walk in the parade.
