I’d like to mount my cheap cardboard/resin stunt pack directly to my MDF [motherboard](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/motherboard). I would, though, like the ability to put on and easily take off the [Cyclotron](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/cyclotron) to add some cheap lighting. Same is true of the [power cell](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/power-cell). I already have the motherboard and Alice pack, but nothing is assembled yet.

With that being said, any help for a super easy way to do this? Astyanax is using magnets, but I am hoping for an even easier approach. At the end of the day, I am aiming for good enough for Halloween time for the pack. I don’t do much cosplay and am building it just for a first experience/something to wear to the door during trick or treating.

(Eventually, I want to do an SC pack or some other kit, but I want to get my feet wet first).

Why not mount the pack to the [motherboard](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/motherboard) in the standard way with the L brackets? 4 bolts and the pack comes off. Very easy.

I was hoping to hide imperfections via Bonds as my parts aren’t all totally flat. In addition, the [power cell](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/power-cell) isn’t 100% flush. I’ve never done a project like this and am trying to keep it simple.

I have pics of where I am at here: [http://www.gbfans.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=42089&p=4879989#p4879989](http://www.gbfans.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=42089&p=4879989#p4879989)

The L brackets intimidate me, but that is probably the best way to go long term. I have a few steps until I have a fiberglass shell.

My initial approach with the [cyclotron](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/cyclotron), before magnets, was velcro. It’s not as strong, but easier than magnets! 🙂

If you’re looking to make the [cyclotron](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/cyclotron) easily removable, you could even go as far as using some Legos to put it on. I don’t know that I’d do it myself, but it’s an idea.
