Thanks! We had a blast on Halloween…but I have bad news though, the electrical tape I used as a red stripe on my doors took the paint off my car. I have used it for this purpose before, and also tried it in an inconspicuous spot to make sure it wouldn’t do this…but it still did. It isn’t very sticky at all, the yellow and black stripe is waaaay stickier and did no damage. I think my paint may be the culprit as it came off REALLY easy…and it’s out of warranty. Go figure. I guess my next project is to learn paint repair… I guess be careful what you stick on your car, even the weakest adhesive can do damage. That’s OK. I’m pretty creative, I’ll find a way to fix it! I’m thinking of painting it, then covering it with a stripe or decal or something. ---

Quick fix for that: Find the paint code for your car and hit up Autozone. They usually have Truematch paint for thinks like this. Just don’t forget to grab some clear coat too. Depending on how old your car is and how often it’s left in the sun, the paint won’t match 100% but it’ll be close. ---

Wow, nicely done and in a week too. I am impressed. Your car and uniforms came out great. I also like the Harly Quinn as a Ghostbuster idea. Very creative!! You guys deserved to win!! 🙂 ---

It’s the Kia paint. Down in Florida I’ve seen it peel off in large chunks. Everything came out great though, and I’m totally stealing that idea for a light bar. ---

Yeah, I’m sure it was the paint. The tape isn’t very sticky. I’m trying to get kia to cover it but it’s not looking good. Maybe i’ll just put a red stripe there permanently! This weekend is a Sci fi show, so I’m going to set it up again, but I’m using magnets this time. … when i get time I’ll upload the schematic for the light bar. ---
