Hello to all the ecto 1 builders!

I am pleased to share with you the work of Dr.Caron, member of Ecto1 forum and director and creator of the Quebec branch of ghostbusters.

Dr.Caron has 5 1959 MM Cadillac hearse and it has converted one of them in Ecto 1, his scale accuracy is totally amazing. He recreated the original bracket for fixing the light rack on the roof of the Caddy 100% accurate, Theres a picture of the bracket on the actual Ecto 1 (sorry if they are rusty, it’s the only close-up shot that I found)

So there’s is the plan, i have them in a Hi Res PDF format to (heavy file), just ask me via PM and ill send it to you via email (if possible).

Very cool.

The brackets would probably cost $30 each to have produced.

It looks like you can take sheet metal and do it yourself, with the right tools of course.

After a certain amount of time, you can’t edit a post. This is to prevent people editing out posts from arguments, and so forth.

The finished brackets look great, excellent work. 🙂

I know Martin said he was going to redo the front measurements since it didn’t quite turn out perfect. Is this the updated measurements? Either way, thanks for posting this since the Ecto forum is down!
