So, most of you may know that Zane (my son) is as big a Ghostbusters fan as I am. What a few of you know is that he is also a big monster truck fan. After getting my hands on a few Ectos I got a crazy idea. What if I made Zane an [Ecto-1](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/uncategorized/ecto-1) monster truck!!!. I didn’t want to make it look exactly like an ecto-1 but make it look more like the monster truck version of one. I lucked out and found a matchbox 63 caddy ambulance. A lil paint, some decals, a roof rack and a new chassis with monster wheels… And ECTO-XTREME was born. ![image](https://discdn.gbfans.com/original/2X/3/3039a79e494d3b09c7328b25dacbb0739211a26a.jpeg) ![image](https://discdn.gbfans.com/original/2X/5/5f052ce3fda580c1aa78667bd7dd31ae76507f17.jpeg) ![image](https://discdn.gbfans.com/original/2X/7/727938ad8670af6c654b55621753f6de2a589596.jpeg) ![image](https://discdn.gbfans.com/original/2X/7/785110113d83a759581ffee9683be15cb8412561.jpeg) ![image](https://discdn.gbfans.com/original/2X/c/c23f4166a863308a33d5c78451539328645c18bc.jpeg) (also check out the wheel swap on my Ecto-1, I took the ones that were on the Matchbox car. I think it looks better) ---

I’m not really crazy about monster trucks, but that’s a pretty good job! 🙂 Those wheels do look better than the ones that come with the Hot Wheels Ecto. Awesome! 🆒 ---

Cool custom jobs! How did you get the cars open? I’m thinking of doing a little custom work myself. ---
