Having looked up the previous topics on converting a bike to an Ecto, I see that the general feeling is “Don’t do it.” However, with the right bike and the proper layout, it can be done with class and appreciation for the original '59 Caddy. As my wife frowned upon the hearse idea, I found a bike that, in my opinion, would make a great canvas for an Ecto conversion. That’s really freaking cool. I think people that want motorcycles get bogged-down by the idea of making an “Ecto Motorcycle” instead of just a really great “Ghostbusters-themed” bike. They want all the tubes and fins and they want to paint it just like the car. And it always falls flat on it’s face before they even get close to actually doing it. I like it. Deserves some blue accents somewhere (control boxes?)! You read up, gave it some thought, did it, and posted it. This is the best kind of thread. ---

Thank you for the compliment. Tonight ((barring any rain)) I will take a video and upload it to youtube to post here. I actually have blue strobes on the front and rear, but in the daytime it’s a pain to try and capture on film. By the way, your thread on the vector file and applying was AWESOME! I don’t think the bike would have been done now if not for your know-how. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. ---

Here is a video of the bike at night so the blue strobes can be seen. I didn’t want it obvious for state inspection reasons, so the fronts are tucked behind the left and right radiator shrouds so they reflect off the chrome radiator cover. And the music in the video is coming from the speakers. the siren would wake the neighbors so I chose the song and muffled the speakers.
