A few things I need to come back to, I realized that I based the ridges in the vac line on the pictures (see earlier post) taken after 89. I have been studying the 84 pictures more closely and I think the 84 vac line is shorter than what is shown in the post 89 pictures. It’s clearly seen in the 84 fotos that that vac line was removed at one point and later replaced.
Another thing I will have to eventually switch out is the ion arm rod, I am using the rod and end cap from GBfans, which while beautiful, is based on the superhero. The end cap and rod on the Spengler are different.
In the photo you can see that along with not having knurling, the lower rod is inserted more towards the middle of the end cap than the one modeled after the super hero.
I will also eventually replace my “Legris” elbows with a nicer replica. While the pack has reached a wearable state, there are still small details I want to address in time. Still waiting for the woofer cover, it should arrive Monday.
