[Ernie Hudson](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/people/ernie-hudson) is set to be appearing at London Film & Comic Con Winter, which will also include his participation in a photoshoot at the convention with him in Ghostbusters attire, and wearing what’s being described as a an actual [Proton Pack](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack) from one of the movies. My guess is that the Pack in question will be this one: ![image]([http://www.gbfans.com/images/pb/mburkit/Pack](http://www.gbfans.com/images/pb/mburkit/Pack) Comparisons\_GB2 Hero\_suconvention2.jpg) This Pack was last seen in 2008, at a previous Showmasters Convention (Showmasters operate the Collectormania series as well as London Film & Comic Con) with Ernie in attendance, and was featured in the Photoshoot at that convention. The dates that Ernie will be present are yet to be posted (including which day he’ll be posing for photographs), but the convention itself runs from Saturday the 5th of October to Sunday the 6th. I’ll post more information as it becomes available. ---

Perhaps with the owner’s permission, someone could take some nice detail shots of this pack for the benefit of the community. I understand that most movie memorabilia collectors are very reserved about this sort of thing, but it wouldn’t hurt to ask… ---

When we made Ernie’s fan made pack we also made him a travel case on wheels so that it would be possible to haul it around in the airport. Hopefully it IS the pack you say it is, that screen used one there. If not, well I suppose you’d know a Venkman71 versus a screen used when you see it. ---

There aren’t many details to give. The one pictured above (and is, by my guess, the one that’ll be appearing in the photoshoot) is a _Ghostbusters_ [Proton Pack](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack) which was refitted for use in _[Ghostbusters II](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/games/ghostbusters-ii-activision)_. Said prop appeared prominently in the Court Room scenes and is privately owned by a collector who resides in the U.K. One of the aims of the convention will be to try find out some more info on it, such as if it still functions and what funky functions the Proton Gun has… although this will depend on if the owner shows it off at the convention again like it’s past appearance in 2008.
