As promised in the news post earlier today, Time Life sent us the finalized design for the packaging of [the Real Ghostbusters](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/games/the-real-ghostbusters-activison) DVD. Obviously the [fans choice of the Fire House box design](http://www.gbfans.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=6488) was the best! The details on the packaging and release are as follows: _The DVDs come in 5 separate STEELBOOK sub-sets, each with 5 DVDs ([volume 5](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/real-ghostbusters/releases/complete-collection/volume-5) has 4 DVDs). Plus, DVD #25 is a bonus DVD with nearly 3 hours of material, including the never-before-seen promotional pilot (with commentary and storyboards). I’m glad they went with the cartoon style firehouse. I didn’t vote for the original version since they were using current pics of the real firehouse. ---

The only thing I don’t like is the disc-over-disc storage. I hate having to pull one disc out just to get at another. I know that I’m not alone in feeling this way. To be fair, I have seen worse - MUCH worse - ways of storing discs. ---

SteelBooks are fantastic. ---

Clortho, I just read about the Simpsons 11th season packging over at [TVShowsonDVD.com](http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/news/Simpsons-Season-11-Box-Art/10740) and it does look pretty horrible. As much as I like the show, I’m glad that I’m not collecting the sets (I just want all of the Halloween episodes - more than that single disc they out out a few years ago). From what they’re saying, it looks like the [What’s Happening complete series](http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/news/Site-News-Worst-DVD-Packaging-Ever/9813) set is even worse than the Simpsons. So my gripe is only minor with the RGB set. If it were like either of these two sets, I’d be fuming! ---

I ordered mine a couple months ago and as te ship date looms closer :sigh: I find myself wondering what the “Music and Effects tracks” are…hopefully some of the Haim Saban/Shuki Levy music perhaps?.. ---

Some episodes will have seperate audio tracks that late all dialoge and are just the music and foley effects. ---

that’s cool that they updated Janine’s appearance on [volume 5](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/real-ghostbusters/releases/complete-collection/volume-5) based on what she looked like that season ( I still prefer the “classic” Janine though, with the big hair, yellow shirt & short orange skirt 😛 ) - and what’s up with Ray’s face on [volume 1](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/real-ghostbusters/releases/complete-collection/volume-1) cover? the dark shadows over his big crazy eyes make him look like he just escaped the looney bin… ---
