Hmmm… paper dolls?! Yeah, you’ll buy that. What else? Um… how about a [Slimer](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/characters/slimer) Giga Pet? Ha ha ha… yeah, I’m sure you suckers would buy that one too. Actually, I’d want one! I know everyone likes the MiniMates, but they just look horrible. My opinion. Looks like someone stuck a marker in there a$$ and tried to draw faces on them! ---

Ok, you may not like the Minimates, but there’s no need to put people down for liking them, and calling us suckers and that we’d buy anything. Rock, I’m assuming that you’re ok with calling AJ a sucker as well for carrying them in the GBF shop and for putting news about them up on the [main page](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/uncategorized/main-page)? C’mon, enough negativity for the minis. If you don’t like them, don’t buy them or try to make other people feel bad for liking them. I think that given the fact that they are only bout 2.5 inches tall, the detailing on them is great. It’s actually better than alot of mainstream 6in lines. ---

while people hope for [Mattel](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/toys/mattel) to make Scoleris, Vigo, [Library Ghost](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/characters/library-ghost), [Terror Dogs](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/tobins-spirit-guide/terror-dogs), [Louis Tully](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/characters/louis-tully), Dana, Courtroom Ghostbusters etc…minimates has done those and THEN SOME. I know they will probably cross those bridges at some point and you can’t really compare, but still.. I can see people not wanting them or liking the style but I don’t get the hate either. It’s a Ghostbusters product that is well done, highly detailed with a buttload of characters and the line is doing well… no reason to ■■■■ in our corn flakes. probably better to avoid topics with the word “minimates” in it… ---

Hit me up if you want some GB Minies! 😉 And nice dick joke… don’t get me started on why you must collect these toys… they must remind you of your own favorite toy??? Yes? Thought so! They know they can make a buck off slapping the GB name on something like a wanna be Lego / Polly Pocket. That’s it. Those are my thoughts. I’m done. I didn’t mean to ■■■■ people off. Rock, actually, the minimates are by far the best and most successful Ghostbusters line ever produced since the original [Kenner](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/real-ghostbusters/kenner-10410) RGB toys released in the 80’s. They are the best for selection, for accessories, for detail and for affordability. There is a reason they are in such demand. These are not some schlock products with a licence on them charging premiums. This line is well thought out for maximum fan enjoyment, and they deliver. Getting hot and bothered isn’t gonna help. And about AJ selling them here, sure some of it is about the money, but everyone needs to make money to survive. It’s a fact Jack. And also, by him stocking them here he is making them available for some fans who may not have a chance to find these locally. Or fans that can only find them on ebay from scalpers at ridiculously high prices prices. He’s providing a good service for the community. ---

The minimates are blowing Mattel’s line out of the water. I’ve got all four Ghostbusters in both standard and dark uniforms, the three courtroom busters, Louis, Dana, a ton of ghosts, traps, [PKE meters](https://www.gbfans.com/shop/mattel-pke-meter), [giga meters](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/giga-meter), and more. They’re highly poseable despite their small size, and have great detailing which is many cases is sculpted and not just painted on. With upcoming mates being Janine, Peck, Janosz, Lenny, and a [Slime Blower](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/slime-blower) Ray, the minimates are the best thing out there. ---

I (and I’m sure others here) got a ‘backorder’ email about those two sets. Those could be the ones that are shortpacked in the cases which is why they got taken down so soon (IIRC the same happened with the courtroom sets last wave). ---
