Greets everyone! (^\_^)/ I’m EJ, and bustin’ makes me feel good. (OMG, how corny was that?) Anyway, I discovered this site through a friend at work; he might even be a member here, I’ll have to check. I work in the motion picture exhibition industry (someone PLEASE tell the Final Destination people, enough already) and I came here looking for advice/guidance on putting together my first [proton pack](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack). I’m in the process of relearning electronics basics and playing with some of the schematics I have found so far. I have a modernized pack design in mind; I’m of the opinion that Igon and Ray would not leave the original design alone for 25+ years given the advances in technology, so I started thinking ‘what would Igon do’? It’s still very much in the early design stages, but it is at least started.

I really like what I’ve seen here so far, and will be back on a regular basis for more guidance and research.

Hey Ej, welcome! Make sure you start spelling Egon right or you’ll have to answer to a lot of angry nerds. I mean fanatics. I mean Spenglerdites. You get the idea. 😉

This place is no dearth of knowledge, so when in doubt, just use the search function and enter a few keywords.
