Hey guys, here is my first time scratch pack build so far. Using PVC for the build. This is the progress from about a month and a half. Having fun so far! Here’s the pics… BTW I think I scaled the pics right, if not let me know and I will fix them.
Wow! That’s a lot of work but it’s looking great. Great scratch building! You should do a tally of the costs for the build for others to go by.

Thanks guys, yea, it is a lot of work…LOL. So far I have about $200.00 into it, anticipate about $300.00 when I’m done.
i have to ask but what type of plastic is it? and does that glue work on any kind of plastic cause i have some for sale signs at home.
It is 1/8" PVC, same as the pipe but in flat sheet form. I got it from a local plastic supplier in a 4 x 8 sheet. I am using the Oatey PVC glue and primer, works very well. I have not really used the glue on anything else, but am going to guess it will probably work.
Nice work so far! I have a few suggestions if you don’t mind. The bolts you have on the top of the gun body holding down the rear handle should be on the side. I’d also suggest removing the bolts holding down the front handle and replacing them with counter sunk bolts and placed towards the middle so you can cover them up with the heat sink.

Thanks for the observation…I think once the front and rear handles are epoxied in place I will removed the screws and bondo over the holes. Good call though!
Great looking stuff! This is truly craftsmanship. It’s one thing to buy a bunch of stuff and bolt it to a piece of aluminum (which is how I, along with many others build their packs) but this is true artistry. Great job! Where do you buy your sheets of PVC???

Hey everyone! After a while of not working on my pack. I am back and making good progress. I need to get some pics of my 95% finished thrower.
