Does anyone know where I can get a pattern for a reasonably screen accurate [flight suit](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/uniform)? I’m working on a bit of a budget, and I figure if I can get my uniform for the price of the fabric, I’ll have a bit more cash to spend on building my [proton pack](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack).

I think you’re better off just buying a [flight suit](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/uniform). The pattern more than likely doesn’t exist, and you’d spend tons of time sewing. I got mine from umm.. [discountarmysurplus.com](http://discountarmysurplus.com) and while 100% screen accurate, it still looks pretty darn good. Mine was about forty, but mine is also a larger size, the smaller ones like s-xxl are like thirty, which really isn’t so bad. I wanna buy another one, the one I have is khaki, and I’m thinking of buying a charcoal one, some no ghost 2 patches, and building a [slime blower](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/slime-blower) with this tank that I have. Just thought I’d pass that on to you \>.\>;

Are you sure you got that site right? It links to one of those ad pages.

Also, I do plan on checking the army surplus stores in my area, but buying one off the internet makes me nervous. For one thing, from the look of things, the suits in the $30-40 range are cheap knock-offs of the real deal, and I wouldn’t want to spend money on one without being able to check it out in person to make sure it doesn’t suck. Also, from what I’ve read the sizing is weird on these things, and you can’t try things on over the internet.

Plus, if I have a choice of everything in the fabric store, I’ll probably have a better chance of getting the color perfect without having to dye anything

Try checking a Joanne’s Fabric store or Cloth World and see if a pattern exists. To date, no one here has been able to find one. If it does exist, I doubt it will be any more accurate than the cheap surplus store flightsuits.

BTW- the link Ecto96 is refering to is [http://www.discountsurplus.com/](http://www.discountsurplus.com/)
