[-neriel@yahoo.com](mailto:-neriel@yahoo.com) **\*\*- REDUCED PRICE to $8,000.00** (lowest I can go since that is what I paid for the car in 2008 before replacing radiator with aluminum one and other upgrades… ) **I’ve had 3 different GB groups try to purchase her but after waiting… the deal falls thru. So, I’ve lowered the price in the hopes that she stays withing the community… If no bites this week… then she is going to ebay…\*\*** This Ecto has been in the Oklahoma Ghostbusters family for over 6 years. It has been in Parades, Community Events and many many car shows. From time to time she is driven around town for the fun of it.. She travels under her own power (original engine) for trips up to 30 miles. Any distance larger than 30 miles (especially in hot days), she gets towed to the event location. Like any surviving vehicle of this age, she has many body imperfections (dents and body rust) but her structure is sound. She will need floor pans installed since hers have rusted away (floor pan sections are included in sale since we never got around to welding them in place). Her interiors are rough too, so she will need upholstery of seat and new door panels and headliner. One of her interesting features is the Superior Hightop Roofline. This roofline has made it difficult to make her screen accurate (as much as possible) but we have actually enjoyed the benefits of a high roof line when it comes to space inside. Her latest rendition has a movie accurate roof rack but the rack has no legs and is bolted directly to the roof. This is the closest approximation to the movie car… We did add the LED Signs to hide the sides of the hightop but we found that without them she looks great. Some of her mechanical upgrades include an electric fuel pump to assist the factory mechanical one. And a multiple core Aluminum radiator to keep her cool… I have a long list of suggested upgrades and maintenance items to keep her on the road for a long time… I will gladly discuss details about her condition to interested parties by email…(trying to keep this post a manageable size). We have loved this car and hate to see it go… but we are trying to make wave for our new Oklahoma Ghostbusters Ecto-1. We recently purchased a 1960 Cadillac Miller Meteor Ambulance. This one will become our primary vehicle in our area once completed so our old Ecto will have to make another Ghostbusters group as happy as she has made us… Important to note, since we are building a new Ecto, **THE ROOF RACK, LED SIGNS AND ROOF GEAR (SIREN, PROPELLO RAY, LIGHTBARS ETC.) This is a very beautiful ambulance. I had the pleasure of driving it recently and it handles very well. I drove it on the highway in Tulsa and it drove quite nicely. Raul and the others who have taken care of this vehicle have treated this with very much love, and it shows. It is still in a stage of restoration, like many other vehicles of this era, but all of the main components and parts to the ambulance are present. As I too am sad to see it’s possible departure, I hope it finds a good and caring home. It can make someone a very nice Ectomobile. I would probably purchase it myself if I had the extra $ and I didn’t already have a 55 year old 21 foot long project taking up all my attention. ---

Fellow Ghostheads, The price is negotiable after verification that she would be going to a good home… It might sound ridiculous to some but it is like having someone adopt a family member or pet from us. I haven’t lost my love for this car… I’m just trying to raise funds for completing our new family member. This baby has brought SO MUCH JOY to so many in our neck of the woods… I’m sure that she will continue to do that for years to come… But don’t be fooled.. She is an older rusty car… You must understand what it takes to keep these babies going… AND how temperamental they can be… Raul UPDATE: changed main listing to lowest price I can go… So, the price is no longer negotiable… ---

I am glad she found a good home. 🙂 I was temped but I had no where to store her. Our garage is not long enough for this car. ☹
