The GBI site is a Role Playing site. Plan and simple, most the of convos on there are being pulled out of our arses. Its just a touch of fun. Within that site, there are pure fanfic groups, like Fritz and his characters, and myself with Sovereign. Then there are the guys that dress up, Like Chase and what not. Id like to see a GBI where someone can look at a directory of People, maybe find a group that they can get together with. If it is writting stories together, or attending Con’s. Eventually Id like to move my team from the fanfic and into the real world. Im just inbthe wrong part of the world at the moment. ---

Yes it is for FUN, no reason to exclude people. Not to mention none of this is reality and it’s all fiction. You still can’t shoot a real proton stream even if you are wearing a [flight suit](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/uniform) and have a [proton pack](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack) prop. I thought the purpose was to bring people together. ---

Just a thought. ---

well maybe there could be an additional list of those who do events? for easier access to users looking for that. They would still be in the master list with everyone else. ---

How about this. The following are Franchises o Ghostbusters International. Not all Franchises are represented with real human being that dress up in uniform, and are started as such with ([fan Fiction](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/fans/fan-fiction) Team) following there name and franchise number. Franchise Blah Blah 01 Franchise La De Da 02 Franchise Tiddly Winks 03 (Fan Fiction Team) Pretty straight forward to me. ---

All they need do is ask. And if it isnt pointed out in the first place as they enter the Threads… This project Consits of Actual teams and Story based teams ([Fan Fiction](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/fans/fan-fiction)) blah blah blah. I just think for something so simple there is alot of confusion. But if im being too harsh i do apologize. ---

no you are not being harsh I am looking at this as a conversation not an argument so its fine lol but I was referring to the average Joe looking to get some people out to a charity event or ghostbusters late night showing. some of these people might not know that there might be a difference. this was my point. I suppose the web masters or whoever could have a list of the franchises who do events and maybe put them somewhere on the site with a breakdown of state to state for people who might be looking. like a button that reads “check to see if there is an Available franchise in your area for events”. Kinda thing. the whole goal i am thinking of is to make things easier for people to better find their way around. I mean I really did not know that there was much of a difference before coming here. and I am still learning. believe me when I say I also am not trying to be harsh or over bearing. I simply am trying to show the [flip side](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/real-ghostbusters/flip-side) of the coin that I actually see lol. and Yes!!! it is about having fun… ---

Charlie is right, as a personal friend of Rich’s i can tell you he’s got stuff going on and has been out of it for a good while, so patience is definitly needed, If you want i can get one of the mods to sort the problem??? And as for this list i think Charlie’s idea is simple enough and works well. IE; Franchise 1: Blahblah Franchise 2: jabba the hutt Franchise 3: Cookies and cream ([Fan fiction](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/fans/fan-fiction) team) If some one can’t get that then put a large note at the top of the list saying, **FAN FICTION TEAM = Team exists only in fan fiction world and nothing is done with props etc.** SIMPLES 😃 ---

I think we’ve all chimed in on the matter enough after the last two weeks. And since none of is will be designing the layout of the new area or have final say, I suggest we have Dan and AJ speak on this before another few weeks go by with us discussing the same thing in circles. 😛 ---

It’s just that last I spoke with him he told me we needed more [proton packs](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack) and he never replied back to my last message. I have noticed that he hasn’t posted in a while though. I understand that we all have more important things to do. I guess at the time I didn’t realize that and misunderstood it as Rich ignoring us. Back then he was still updating a bit. Yeah, it’s been a year maybe since I tried to get CNCGB on the roster page. But oh well. Hope Rich is doing well though. ---

I’m not blaming Rich, so I’m sorry if it seemed that way. At the time he was posting here and there on GBI and I didn’t realize - and still don’t realize - just how busy he may actually be. My apologies. I didn’t know there were mods to contact. 🙂 Anyway, it’d be great to be up there beside Peterson’s franchise under NC, but otherwise I’ve decided since then that it doesn’t matter if my team is on the list or not. But if you want to… But, seriously, Rich wanted me to get at least 2 [proton packs](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack) first (we now have 1 ugly proton pack and 2 proton pistols). Besides, the website is probably an issue. We still have the myspace but we hope to get something better soon… Gray tells me he’s been working on a website for us for the past several months, but he’s been really busy being married so there’s nothing tangible online yet. Well, that’s life unfortunately. So, sorry for what I said about Rich. I understand how it is.
