Seller Info: Greg Daley Rolling Meadows, IL USA [gdaley57@comcast.net](mailto:gdaley57@comcast.net) The KUDMETER Electronics kit is a direct replacement printed circuit board kit with updated switches and harnesses to assist in adding light & sounds to Winston Zeddemore’s tool of the trade “The K.U.D Meter”. It requires and uses the existing body, gauge, speaker and battery compartment that are part of a Radio Shack Micronta 3001 Metal Detector. I’m offering 3 different versions of the kit: **\*\*(1) COMPLETE KUDMETER KIT** (2) KUDMETER KIT W/UTENSILS **(3) KUDMETER BASIC ELECTRONICS KIT\*\*** The kits comes with: • The necessary body parts from a pre-weathered Radio Shack Micronta 3001 Metal Detector - Comes with the **COMPLETE KIT** • The hard to find potato masher and strainer - Comes with the **COMPLETE KIT AND KIT #2** • The main board w/ rotary switch assemblies • Harness for the gauge • Harness for the speaker • Blinking red LED harness w/ LED holders & connector • Battery harness w/ power converter • Power switch • RGB lights and lens assembly • Chrome end cap • Heat shrink tubing • A link to a PDF tutorial on how to install the electronics kit. _Note_ - There are some examples in the PDF on how to install a masher and strainer but they are only examples. There are so many different ways to install the utensils that I leave it up to your own ingenuity. Because of this, no hardware or any type of adhesive is included with this kit for that purpose. Powered by an Arduino Nano and the WT588D sound chip, it has many cool features. • Lighted display for the gauge powered by 2 RGB (Red-Green-Blue) LEDs. Selected with a rotary switch, you can have it illuminate Green, Red, Blue, White, Purple, Yellow or Orange. It also has an off position. • A 10 position rotary switch, which can cycle through 8 different sound effects, the first being an off position. The effects range from futuristic scanner sounds to movie quotes of Winston Zeddemore from both movies. Hi Paul, same here. I’ve been trying to source them for 2 years now with no luck. I bought a small supply of them when I first released my kit and I’m down to my last one now which is promised to someone else. I was thinking of designing them and having them custom molded by a machinist but the interest has never been there and it would never be cost effective. I can honestly say, those that have a Kudmeter, hang on to it tight. They are becoming Unicorns. ---
