I’m sure it’s been said elsewhere, but have to say that Sponge’s tutorial videos are like Bob Ross painting demos to me - amazingly informative while also calming. I don’t think I’ll ever mod a Spirit walkie but enjoyed watching the process. Thanks for doing those, sir! ---

Would this module work in a real MT-500? I already have the walkie talkie. I’m just looking for a good sound kit now. ---

Almost - the wiring is a bit different, so I do need to get some instructions written up for this and was planning on including some additional parts like a battery holder and possibly a replacement speaker since some speakers in the MT500s have been previously damaged. And compared to my previous MT500 sound board, this board uses two AA batteries, rather than a 9V battery. ---

What are the odds of these coming back? And as important, any chance these kits could go inside real MT500s, like your original ones you sold? ---

I am looking at making another run of these and am looking into if/how I can make these also work for the MT500. The current design can work in the MT500, but the connections are a bit more complicated. ---
