# GB vs GB 2 belt Gizmos

I am wanting to build a GB 2 grey suit [belt gizmo](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/uniform/calculator-circuit-board). I have been doing some looking around and I can’t seem to find a thread that talks about the diffrences between the gizmos. So my question is what is the diffrence between a GB gizmo and a GB 2 gizmo?

if youre going GB2 accurate, youre gonna have to build it from scratch rather than a nick-a-tron kit which should be very easy considering its simplicity

The GB2 board is MUCH easier to build than the GB1 board. As you can see in the reference section, it doesn’t even use real nixie tubes (instead it uses clear tubing stuffed with rainbow [ribbon cable](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/ribbon-cable)). Other tricky details such as the sloping nixie shelf and the ICC pillows with brass wire are also absent on the GB2 [belt gizmos](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/uniform/calculator-circuit-board).
