I learned long ago not to get my hopes up just because someone somewhere said something is a “go”. Even [Harold Ramis](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/people/harold-ramis). Bigger movies have crapped out. I won’t sing hallelujah until I see a studio trailer and a release date (mm/dd/yyyy). ---

If you go by Ramis’ quote alone, then this is still isn’t a done-deal. He just sounds optimistic about it happening. He didn’t say GB3 was confirmed or greenlit, so I’m afraid this could still fall through at any time. The author of the article is just taking his comments out of context. I will say though that I feel better hearing this kind of talk coming from Ramis over, say, [Sigourney Weaver](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/people/sigourney-weaver) or [Ernie Hudson](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/people/ernie-hudson). ---
