# GBFANS soundboard question

Got my soundboard today.

Hooked it up to a 9V battery and a speaker for testing.

The instructions say to test it without an MP3 player to turn on dip switch 3 to play the song.

Nothing plays.

I toggle the rest of the dip switches and all the sounds play properly.

Does my song not work? Or did I do something wrong?

Yeah. What’s weird is if I use the area for switches on the side of the soundboard I got it to play. But for some reason that dip switch doesn’t want to activate the song.

It might be an error on the documentation. I don’t think Switch #3 is assigned to the song any longer.

If you check the documentation on page #3, it says something different for the #3 dip switch.

You should be able to flip DIP #1, 2, 4 or 6 to get some sound out of it though.

Yeah when I flip those switches all the pack sounds activate. Thanks for the info!
