While the last one is definitely what the game should win, Iā€™d be more convinced to vote for it if they hadnā€™t completely ruined the PC version. ---

I agree that some of the other guys should have got some recognition for their voice work on the game, but I am just stoked that the game got that kind of reception! I just really would like a sequel so any news or promotion of the game that can keep people interested Iā€™m all for! ---

Hereā€™s hoping for ā€œBest game based on a movie/tv showā€ because it lost the other 2. Heck, they didnā€™t even go over the other nominees in the other categories. Donā€™t read too much into it as its all just a popularity contest. I mean Megan Fox won ā€œBest Voice by a Female Leadā€ā€¦ Give me a break. Edit: Lost the last category to South Park Tower Defense. I died a little inside from a lot of these winners. ---

Damn. I was expecting the game to win at least one award but lost ALL three categories?!? Not cool. I do love South Park the show but the only South Park game was the one that came out on the N64 like years ago but still Ghostbusters the game sold millions of units and it was an awesome game. The VGAs shouldā€™ve included **Best Story/Plot** and Ghostbusters would have won that award. ---

It shows an embarasing fact that a lot of gamers are actually not too bright. GB should have won best game based on tv show/movie. I would go as far as say best cast too. As for best male, I donā€™t blame them losing that one- Bill didnā€™t give an impressive performance. ---

I know South Park is more popular than Ghostbusters, but come onā€¦ how did THIS win? over this? you want ā€œtower defenseā€? how about defending a skyscraper from a hundred foot marshmallow man, dangling upside down using realistic life-like graphics? ---

Thatā€™s too easy to answer.Spikeā€™s VGAs are a popularity contest among the supposed ā€œhipā€ or ā€œinā€ crowd.They cater to a specific demographic not necessarily what is the best choice.They have no real merit and from what Iā€™ve read they arenā€™t taken very seriously by the gaming community.I donā€™t think Iā€™ve ever seen a ā€œVGA award winnerā€ blurb on a game box.
