Nobody is dangling anything. Even if it is the same idea, the Ecto Force thing, it was obviously put on hold because of everything else and then the focus turned to Afterlife. There was never any official announcement like this has.
Sonic Prime was announced in 2020…the show didn’t release til fall 2022.
