I wasn’t to fond of the song.so i got rid of it.
I’m going to be honest with you. Maybe I am just jaded from 5 years of having emo friends whose only way to express themselves is with two chords.
And wailing. Lots of out-of-key wailing.
"There are shadows, and I see them everywhere
And to know I’ll alone without you"
These reeks of bad emo.
But that’s just me, I’m prone to hate. Keep working at it!
I think it’s cool !
I don’t label myself.I think labels are stupid.Ive been doing music for a very long time and i have played many different genres. And i experiment with the vocals sometimes they were deeper and sometimes higher.Im more into grudge then emo i really like nirvana. But im not the kind of guy that knocks something thats different or whatever.I like a few emo/hardcore bands i love moneen, alexisonfire, taking back sunday, blink 182.I like punk as well like the dead kennedy’s,rise against, nofx,.Ive come to terms with who i am.And if people like me for me thats great and if they don’t thats there loss.
I don’t think boomer was making fun of you, man. I have to say that I liked the performance, I just happen to enjoy someone who can put themselves out there and play a song. I don’t really care for the format/genre whatever you wanna call it, but I still think you have some talent man. That being said, you don’t want to hear anything I can play :-p

This song immediately reminded me of my old college friends who idolized Taking Back Sunday and other emo bands.
Forget the labels, just work on having more than two chords per song, and wailing out of tune.
My singing is not out of tune. And that song has more then 3 chords. But thats your opinion if you didn’t like it
if you click on the youtube link below my sign you’ll hear my song about an hipotethical GB3 movie
