Quick update. I still haven’t had a chance to drop the lights below the ceiling, but I have had a couple additions.

Since I didn’t have anywhere to store my newest Halloween decoration, Vinz now stays on the hood in the off-season. He’s plugged in, so when you open the door his eyes light up and he turns his head and grows. I forgot it was there and scared the hell out of myself the first couple times I went into the garage and it was right in my face in the dark. Lol.

The other upgrade is a new sign. It’s from Trick or Treat Studios. I’m pondering buying a second one and combining them back-to-back for a decoration for my driveway for Halloween.

Finally, I’ve added a couple traps to my collection. (I actually was gifted them from different people for Christmas.) The first one is the Spirit Deluxe trap that mists water. The second one is the fogger trap from Halloweencostumes.com. If I get many more, I’m gonna need a bigger shelf…

Thanks for the kind words, guys. Dropping the lights below the ceiling will probably be the last mod I do to the room itself and I’m not sure it’ll be done before Summer.

I have kicked around the idea of cutting a hole in the dropped ceiling (not in the basement ceiling, as it would be the floor of my dining room, Lol) and hanging a faux firepole. I mentioned the idea with Alex Newborn when he came over to film for Pass the Trap. I’m confident that I can blow up and print a screen grab of Ray when he asks if the pole still works and hang it in the top of the hole I’d cut.

It’s probably just a pipe dream, but then again, most of that room (including the room itself) started as a pipe dream. So, who knows? Lol.
