First time to post here, My name is John I live in the St Louis Metro East area. I am a factory worker and I work part time at Six Flags St Louis. I have been in costuming and proping for about 5 to 6 years now. My main thing has always been Either Batman or Indiana Jones, but I have in the last year branched out into other costumes. Many of my costumes are never 100 % screen accurate ( I just like to add a little originality ) In the last few months i have been putting together a Ghostbusters Costume ( just recieved and gutted my MT500 radio today ) I never had put much thought as to doing a GB costume before until Fright Fest this past season. We had a generic Ghostbuster/ Zombie buster and I thought it needed a [Proton Pack](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack). I had checked with my younger Bro to see if he still had his from the yester years but sad to say he did not. I did how ever Find his old Nerf [Ecto goggles](https://www.gbfans.com/shop/mattel-ecto-goggles) in my garage. they had seen the test of time and even at one time was a dog toy ( Don’t ask ) So I cleaned them up repainted them and Our GB / ZB had some Goggles. He did not get them till the last weekend but got many compliments for wearing them. So I felt inspired to make a GB costume for myself. Knowing How much this could cost I set ground rules as for a budget, I first set it a $500 but since have lowered it to $200. the pack is all scratch built from thrown out wood from My Factory job when they reframed my bosses windows in his office. Suit is a Poly Cotton [flight suit](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/uniform) , boots are us training combat boots Belt I got at a gun show for $5 and painted with primer Arm patch came from Ebay. I will try to get some pics of progress up in a few days.

Other costumes in the works:

Thanks for the compliments.

TOTGM figures would have been cool, I had thought about making a 12" Jake. I remember seeing a Flying tigers 12" a few years ago on Ebay. I don’t remember if it was a custom or production figure.
