Anybody plan on going around in the new GTA game, and try and visit all the locations that were used in the [Ghostbusters movies](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/movies)? I plan on checking Central Park West, Hook & Ladder and the Library. ---

ohhh, that’s a good idea. I bought a copy last night at midnight, but I have yet to play it. Do you think they have the fire house (gb hq) as a location in the game? ---

Wll judging by the maps there is several firestations marked down on the maps, so I can only persume that one of them will be the Hook & Ladder ---

You do realise that despite the number of elements of New York that have been accurately represented, there’s absolutely no guarentee that Hook & Ladder 8, The [New York Public Library](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/games/ghostbusters-the-video-game/levels/new-york-city-library) or [55 Central Park West](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/locations/55-central-park-west) will have some sort of equivilant in the game. ---

Yeah I do realise that, but it’s still an interesting little thing to check for, I’m pretty sure everybody here would be looking around for these places nonetheless ---

Does anyone know if Spiderman 3 had those buildings in it? I heard the game was supposed to be an accurate scale model of New York, closer than GTA IV anyway. I couldn’t find them but I don’t really know where to look. ---

I totally stopped and got out of my car in amazement and to look around. because of that i so got busted and lost my wepons, but so worth it!! ---

it’s right around where central park would be but i forgot what it’s called in the game, it’s right next to what looks like raido city music hall. I thinki may hove found the firehouse, but i don’t think it is the right one, it looks like it from the front but on the side it has a extended bay with 3 seprate garage doors for the trucks ---

I dont even know where to start looking for the hote, firehouse, or dana’s apartment. If i knew the city better or the roads better maybe. However this game is really addicting. ---

It’s in Middle Park West…Central Park West being the real name. So far I’ve seen in the game. The church, the appartment, the [tavern on the green](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/locations/tavern-on-the-green), City Hall, the area with the water fountain where Peter meets Dana, and the grass area outside the university where the three discuss holding a ghost. They are all from Ghostbusters incidentally, not sure if I’ve seen anything from the second movie. Was the exterior of the museum based in New York because I think I seen that as well, I remember reading or hearing that either the museums interior or exterior was based in Los Angeles. I also think I seen the courhouse exterior from Ghostbusters 2 as well, but can’t be sure. I’m really surprised that the Library didn’t make it into the game, because it’s such a New York attraction, I expected major details to make it like that. ---

The Museum exterior is the former Customs House at the Bowling Green in Lower Manhattan, whilst the interiors were on a Burbank soundstage. As for the Firehouse the exterior was also New York, whilst the interior was downtown L.A. If any of you guys are able to grab some screenshots using your digital cameras, that’d be great. 🙂 ---

If I get aroud to playing the game later on, I’ll do that, I’ll also take a shot of the firehouse thta looks similar to the Hook & Ladder. ---

man finding the church and dana’s apt. was pretty cool. makes u wondering how tall the stay puft is compared to the building. now if only there was a cheat code to get the [ecto-1](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/uncategorized/ecto-1) in the game… guess i gotta wait for the pc version and hope someone makes a mod of the ecto-1 lol
