As I recall on the making of RGB documentaries on the Time Life Boxset,Maurice La Marche was saying how [Lorenzo Music](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/people/lorenzo-music) never liked being photographed normally,he would always wear a hat & sunglasses or be eating a burger,that picture definitely proves it 🆒 ---

I admit it’s selfish, but hearing about his death all of those years ago depressed me as a Ghostbusters fan–it meant that my fantasy of him, [Frank Welker](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/people/frank-welker), [Arsenio Hall](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/people/arsenio-hall), [Maurice LaMarche](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/people/maurice-lamarche), and [Laura Summer](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/people/laura-summer) reuniting for a new cartoon would never come to pass. Not that it probably would have anyway, but Mr. Music’s death made it physically impossible. He was one of the most talented men in the field, and is very much missed. ---

[Lorenzo Music](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/people/lorenzo-music) was a fantastic voice actor,to me & many other Ghostbusters fans watching the show back in the 80’s,he was just how we envisioned [Peter Venkman](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/characters/peter-venkman) & let’s face it he was better than Dave Couiller,but do’nt get me wrong,Couiller was ok,but not nearly as good as Lorenzo’s Venkman 🆒 ---

Definately better than Coulier, hands down! It just seemed like [Dave Coulier](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/people/dave-coulier) tried too hard to sound like [Bill Murray](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/people/bill-murray) and ended up making the character not sound good ---

As brilliant as Murray is at portraying the Venkman character no one and i mean no one came as close at nailing Venkman’s character the way Lorenzo did.And in vice-versa for Garfield the movie they had Murray do the voice over…now that’s irony. ---

Couldn’t have said it better. Music nailed Venkman’s character. I always liked the cartoon Venkman over the movie one. But that is just me. Just sad that no channel still has it on the air. My daughter loves to watch it on Youtube. ---

RIP Lorenzo. You were a good Peter Venkman and a good Garfield. In fact whenever I read a Garfield comic I read it in his voice.
