Hey all, I’m looking to replace the [ribbon cable](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/ribbon-cable) on pack Haslab pack but I dont want to open up the connector - does anyone know of a 3d print file for a replacement? I’ve looked on thingyverse and the like but haven’t found anything.

Are you saying you want to put a new ribbon inside the stock connector, but don’t want to open up that connector? I don’t see how that’s possible.

There is at least one company that sells a HasLab compatible connector that uses the OEM slots: C&A Prop Design. You can find them on Facebook pretty easily.

No sorry, I mean I want to replace the connecter completely with a 3d print, which would include it clipping into the slot and pushing down the little button behind it.

I haven’t seen any freely available models for 3D printed replacements. What cable are you swapping in? A GB1-style cable is going to have a lot of torque, and may be more stress than a 3D print can handle. Tiny 3D printed tabs seem especially fragile, with a thick ribbon pulling on them. (Moving parts, too)

But it never hurts to try. 🙂

If you struck out at Thingiverse, maybe check Yeggi and Printables, too?

I’m giving my own design a try 🙂 I did find someone who was selling a STL, but they wanted $25 for it…
