# Having troubel attatching the tubing to the thrower

Is there some trick to getting the tube onto the brass barbs? DO you need to heat it first or anything or am I using the wrong tubing (Clippard 3814.1 green tube).

Tried searching, but just came up with pictures of it already done ☹

Any help (or a link to a place on this forum if I missed it) would be very much appreciated!!

Dipping the tube in some boiling hot water for a few second should make it much easier to attach the barb.

Well the hot water and pushing hard worked…now I get to look at the thrower until i can patch up all the gaps and crevices with bondo and then paint it (I’m impatient and wanted all the buttons and switches on it as I cant work on it fully till the holidays…)

starting to look good…just in white right now 🙂
