# Hello All!.....

I found this site while searching around on google. My son wants to be a ghostbuster for Halloween this year. What techie dad doesn’t want to make a wicked cool [proton pack](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack) for his son? I am a web development student at IUPUI in Indianapolis Indiana and a techie by trade. I build and program microcontrollers in my spare time for different uses. I have one that opens my garage door for me ;-). Anyhoo, I thought to myself “Why not install one of my boards in his proton pack to control the lights and make it more interactive?” In searching for images of the pack itself, I found this site and all the cool add-ons that some users are installing in their packs. What fun it is to be a kid again, eh? I think I was 5 when the original movie came out. I had the toy proton pack, [ghost trap](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/ghost-trap), action figures, it was great! My mom even bought the breakfast cereal and [slimer](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/characters/slimer) Hi-C for me, what a mom!

Anyway, its nice to be here. 🆒

There are actually some plans for light kits, you should look them over. You could probably build your own light kit for your sons pack.

Another local? I live on the West Side of Indianapolis, and went to IUPUI for a year. That was a long time ago.
