# Help with arm and knee pads..please

I went to markwort and didn’t see what I was after. anyone got any links or a place to go for these…please help!

anyone??? are the markwort volleyball knee pads the correct ones???

The knee pads seen in the films (but worn as elbow pads) were indeed made by Markwort. Markwort has since stopped making the gray pads used by the Ghostbusters, so for a while people would just buy the white pads and dye them gray. However, Markwort has now stopped making these pads altogether, so eBay is your best bet if you simply can’t live without screen accurate pads. However, I’'ve heard there are several companies who make knee pads that look very similar. Personally, I just got a white pair of the $8 Franklin Volleyball Knee Pads in the Wal Mart sporting goods section and painted them gray. It looks good enough to me and most people don’t know they were in the movies anyway. When the white Markwort pads are dyed, certain parts of the pads don’t take the dye very well, leaving much of the pad white. I thought this looked cool so I painted mine to match.
